For example, when one team defeats all the monsters in the Academy, the gates in the Citadel open, and the team stationed there must begin defeating their monsters. Then the gates in the Academy open again, and so on.
Monsters drop Luciad Medals, which can be exchanged with the Luciada Senior Officer outside the siege zone for various rewards:

Bronze Medal (10 Luciada Medals)
Commander Rondo’s Cloak (50 Luciad Medals)

The Citadel Siege
The siege takes place once a week, on Saturdays, at 2:00, 6:00, 10:00, 14:00, 18:00, and 22:00 server time. To participate, guild leaders must visit the Recruitment Officer in Rondo or at the Kelpa Siege Camp and place a bid for their desired time slot.
Bids:
First bid: 120,000 guild points
Guilds can outbid each other by adding 20% to the previous bid.
Outbid bets are returned to the guilds.
At the end of the siege day, the bid price is automatically reset.
When the siege day ends, players can claim their rewards. The top 5 are displayed on the bulletin board in the center of Rondo.
1st place — Gold Medal (increases all stats except Luck by 50).
2nd place — Silver Medal (increases all stats except Luck by 40).
3rd place — Bronze Medal (increases all stats except Luck by 30).
The leaders of the guilds that take the top three spots will receive the Commander Rondo’s Cloak.
All rewards remain with the winners until the start of the next day of the siege. To claim your reward, go to the bulletin board in Rondo. It will automatically appear in your inventory.
The Siege consists of two parts—the Academy and the Citadel. Participating guilds should split into two teams, with one team killing monsters on the Academy side and the other on the Citadel side, because the gates in both parts open one after the other.
